Experience Traditional Culture
The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK or North Korea) is a land that values labor and we desire its welcomed visitors to truly experience its traditional culture. Visitors are able to work beside the North Korean people and learn how to make foods such as kimchi, rice cakes, and fermented soybean blocks in ways that are unique to coastal northeast Korea. Other activities include visiting a goat farm to feed the goats and clean the goat houses, learning about agriculture, and tasting natural North Korean honey. Guests also have the opportunity to visit the open market and souvenir shop in downtown Rajin.
Explore Economic Opportunities
Guests who are interested in the economic opportunities in DPRK have the option of visiting factories and various foreign-invested companies (state owned, joint venture, wholly foreign owned) and to request meetings with officials who are in charge of the economic development of the region. Visitors are also able to tour the Russia-DPRK border area and the Rajin port. In addition, visitors may have the opportunity to meet with some of the local field workers and hear them share their personal experiences of working inside DPRK.
Enjoy Pristine Nature
Visitors can experience the beautiful environment of rural North Korea by hiking the mountains of Shinhaeri and enjoying the beach in Rajin. Traveling around the unspoiled rural areas of DPRK will reveal a natural beauty to our guests that many people have never had the opportunity to enjoy.
